Messengertalk (Tala & Rei, occasional Bryan)

-"Hey, you're not the only one around here, who wants to kill Tyson... Heh, if Kai were here, he'll..."

Rei stopped writing and just stared his laptop's screen...

-"Hn. Nevermind about what I just said, let's do something about the-pissed-off - situation we've got here, don't you agree?"

The redhead smirked. Rei left his rant about Kai unfinished. Did the kitty miss ol' Kai?

"I agree..."

He streched, his back made itself heard by a loud pop and the pain stopped. 'Sweet, something dislocated...' Goddamn Bryan...

-"So, what shall we do then? I'm already drunk here in my lonely apartment. I don't even know what time is it and I don't know where you are at the moment... Maybe I shouldn't have drink so damn much of this sweet strawberry sider..."

He blinked. Rei? Drunk? Ooookay...

"You really can't take much alcohol it seems... I'm in Russia... Where ya'd think? No other place to be at..."

If the kittycat was alone, where the hell was Kai?

-"Ah, of course, sorry for my stupidity. I didn't think at the moment I asked... Oh what ever... It's a pity that you're not nearby... We could have gone to bar or do something else that is more funnier than being alone at home..."

Rei was getting really angsty...He sure have lost the controll of himself...

Oh yeah. Night drinking would have sounded great. Unless they hadn't been in totally different countries.

"Such a shame..."

-"Well, I just have to drink alone, though I'm already under alcohol's command..."

Rei didn't care of anything... or anybody at the moment. The sider made him sarcastic and cold...

-"*sigh* I've got nothing... nothing else but Driger, you there, on the other side of the world and these sider cans to drink... Heh, am I pathetic or what?
I should just quit drinking and travel... Maybe I should come and visit you and other Blitz boys...
What do you think?"

Tala blinked. Rei sounded desperate.

"Well, if you stay clear of Bryan then it might be okay... But if you wanna hang around with me, you'll meet up with Bryan when he gets the jealousy fits. You choose."

-"Yeah, I do know that... Well, I'll think about it, but I think that I'll change my mind when I'm clear of alcohol, but we'll see..."

"Yeah, we'll see about that."

He yawned. He was dead tired and his side ached.

"I might go to bed... I'm gonna fall asleep here soon if I don't. Unless you really want me to stay?"

Another yawn.

-"No, sure you go to sleep if you're that tired... Don't you mind about me... I'll go to sleep too. There's no point to stay up too late anyway... Well, good night."

Rei wrote his last message and closed his laptop's screen, but didn't switch off the computer. He sure felt lonely, but he didn't care... he was too tired to admit it...

Tala yawned again as he read Rei's message and then saw him log out.

"Well, good night to you too..." he muttered. Fuck he cared. He was dead tired and about to go to bed. He got up and almost fell over. He just kept the button in the bottom until the computer turned off before wandering to bed, almost sending Ian crash back to the basement where he was coming from.

"Hey! Watch it, Red!"

"Whatever!" he snapped and Ian took a step back. "I'm just tired, ok? Rei might be coming over. We talk more tomorrow. Night."

Ian was left blinking.

Rei checked the messenger one more time before going to bed... No messages.

-"Hn. Thought so. He sure sounded too tired to stay on his feet. ... Well, time to sleep a bit before going to work. I bet my head will ache in the morning... Damnit those sweet siders, I should get rid of them...
hn, whatever, I've failed enough already... "

Few hours later...

Rei was lying in his bed, still wide a wake, listening radio with headphones.
The song, which Rei was listening ,was Linkin Park's 'What I've Done':

-"Hmn. Good band and great song, but right now it's so sad that I'm about to cry... to me, myself and my life... I'm going down...
I'm going to fall without you... come back Kai..."

After that Rei fell asleep with tears falling down on his cheeks. He had done so almost every night, missing his love... missing his happiness.

*Laaaater that night*

Tala lay wide awake in his bed. Oh crap. Why he couldn't sleep now? He had slept soundly for some hours and now he couldn't. Had he messed up his pills again? Not likely. Spencer was such a mother hen occasionally. Especially after Tala had recovered rather slowly from the month spent in coma. And he had been a fast healer before.

After that... He hadn't been himself...

It was monday morning, 06:00 am local time in Japan and Rei had woken up early to clear his head...

-"Already 06:00 am..? Hmm *still a little sleepy, rolling in his master bed for two*... It's time to take a shower and make some breakfast... Ouch, my head..."

Rei went to the bathroom and washed himself. Then, only a towel wrapped around his waist, Rei picked up the mail outside and went straight back inside to make something to eat.

-"I'll just drink some coffee and eat a sandwich... Hopefully I'm not going to throw up later..."

Rei ate his breakfast and dressed in his work uniform. He worked as an receptionist in a nearby hotel called The 7th Heaven.

"For chrissakes... BRYAN!!"

Tala was still awake. He had slept 5 hours and he was able to snore away at least 12 at best. Like now he felt like sleeping a week. Bryan didn't help though. It was sometime in the night, and Bryan was listening music again. Tala had been awake for the last 36 hours, for some readon, and now he was ready to kill.

13:30 pm, Rei have done his work for today...
He goes straight home from work and he's tired and hungry.

At home:

-"Hmm... I wonder what time is it in Moscow right now? Well, I just log in the messenger and wait for messages..."

Rei started to make lunch and left his laptop on the desk, screen open. He was hoping that someone would mail to him......

It was morning... Early morning... Tala was awake. And alone. After he had almost killed Bryan, Spencer had taken them to train, leaving their exhausted (and royally pissed) captain to sleep.

Was he asleep? Hell no. He was teetering to the computer room again. Teetering? He was too messed up.

Computer on.

Messenger on.

Oh hello...

-"Oh shoot! Auts..."

Rei was shouting when he made a cut in his right hand's pointer finger. The finger started to bleed, but Rei didn't care... He just watched the blood falling down... Suddenly Rei felt a little thirsty so he decided to lick his wounded finger.

The blood taised salty, but also a little what... berries? Raspberry?! No, that was the dessert's raspberry he cut a while ago...

-"...Sucking blood like a vampire..? Well, there's no one else to lick this than myself..."

Rei felt lonely again... Dead lonely... Standing alone in the kitchen, a light blue apron on his work uniform and with a chinese kitchen knife in his hand...

Rei stood there a while, making no sound, just listening the clock on the wall...

After washing his pointer finger, Rei heard his laptop beeping. He got a message.
Rei walked slowly to his computer and checked the messenger... 1 message reseaved from Tala Valkov.

-"I better have to check this one..."

Tala jerked awake for the 5th time in two minutes. He was exhausted. He had just finished his pouring-his-heart-out-to-the-only-person-available message.

"I'm like.. falling asleep on this chair... I couldn't sleep, Bryan was being the lovely asshole he is and keeping me awake the rest of the time. I just can't take this anymore... He is hopeless. Thank goodness we ain't dating for real. It's just fucking occasionally. I'm sure you don't wanna hear about that..."

Rei read the message he reseaved and was a bit surprised, but at the same time, he was releaved of that he wasn't the only one to be sucked in.
He answered:

-"Sure you can tell me, if you want. I'll listen to you and be your personal therapist. Besides, I do have time to chat... I just got a week's vacation of the work today, so I DO have time to do anything I want and now that my "beloved" Kai isn't here either..."

Rei was angry again, because he just remembered Kai being gone, not dead, but gone...

-"Baka... You should have told me where you were going... Now you're missing and I'm worried sick because of you..."

Rei accidently wrote his thoughts down and sent them with the answering message to Tala...

He didn't notice it ,just got back in the kitchen and finished his meal while waiting Tala to answer...

"Eh?"

Now Kon has gone nuts or something...

"Lash out at Kai when he comes back. Not at me."

He felt like slitting his wrists currently. He was tired, miserable and... He got up to get the paper knife he knew was somewhere in the room.

Rei got back to the computer and read Tala's message.

-"What?...Wait a sec..." Rei checked his old messages and found out what have caused the matter.

-"Oh... Sorry, I didn't mean to... I just somehow wrote my thoughts down... You probably think I'm going crazy or something..?"

-> Thinking while writing the answering message: *Idiot! Stupid! How did I do that?*

"No. I don't think that you are nuts. My own mental health is something questionable." He still hadn't found the knife.

"Might do something drastic soon..."
