Snowy park (Tala & Kai)

Okay, it was a little windy and chilly and dark in Moscow but like he cared. Tala Valkov has been officially thrown out of the house. What he did? No clue. He went for a little nap and he returned to the world of the living when Kai was screaming at him. What happened next...

Tala had started to ask what happened. Kai was just still swearing and not listening.

"Grab your jacket and get out. And don't you dare come back."

Now he was all alone. He had wandered almost to the other side of the damned city! To the Abbey side of it... He slumped down on the low stone fence and did something unimaginable for him. He cried. Silent tears fell from his eyes. The cold wind froze them as soon as they fell onto his jacket. His hair was down, but did nothing to protect them from the harsh winter air. He had no gloves, he barely felt his fingers with this rate.

Kai cursed as he watched Tala stride away. What the hell had he done, again?! He had just hotten so royally pissed. Fuck, fuck, fuck everyone for making him find a letter from his grandfather and the bloody royal idiot Boris! It had been sent to him a long time ago, but he had found it now, cleaning his room. And there was no way he would let Tala see it, and he was angry, and somehow that mixed up and he yelled to the russian man. He told the other one to get out and not come back, and the other one had gone. Fuck.

After a few short moments of tension he grabbed his jacket and ran out, thanking whatever god really existed for the snow that betrayed Tala's path to him. His legs were moving quickly, his breath getting uneven, the cold northern wind blowed against his face, bringing tears to his eyes. But still he ran, hoping that he hadn't mixed Tala's footprints with those of someone else.

Kai was at the other side of the town, and he was starting to think that he'd gone to the wrong way. That was before he spotted a familiar figure in the distance, sitting on a stone fence. And he ran faster.

He was shaking and his lips were blue already. Wolborg tried to comfort him, to keep him warm as best as the beast could, but he was still chilled to the bone.
'How ironic...' he tought, 'your element is ice and yet you freeze to death.' His fingers were numb as he tried to keep them from freezing off at his armpits. The tears had frozen to his cheeks. He didn't see or hear the approaching figure. He was in his own world, where he had been forced to pull out many times before.

Kai cursed aloud when he saw the condition Tala was in. The last few metres he jumped in a one, big leap and put his still warm hands around Tala's almost frozen fingers.
"Tala? Come back."

His voice was weird. It was compulsive, demanding and powerful, leaving no room for either excuses or denial. But it still held a hint of sorrow, shame, it was even apologetic. Slowly the hands he was holding were starting to get warmer. Still not warm, but going towards that.

Tala blinked. He thought Kai called him to come back. He felt his fingers being held. His breath hitched, eyes slowly focusing back to the reality he so much hated sometimes.

"Kai..." he stuttered. Was he dreaming this? Was he dead already?

Large white wolf appeared next to Kai. It lay its head on Tala's thigh, eyes looking up to the phoenix. Begging for help.

Wolborg was helpless.

"Come back!"

Strong was his voice, demanding, almost a battle cry. He squeezed Tala's hands tighter, so tight it had to hurt. There was fierce determination in his cold, colourless eyes. -and he dropped to his knees on the snow, not caring about his trousers getting wet, not caring about the coldness. The cruel wind blew his blue hair to his face, flapped his jacket. And again he repeated his command.

Come back.

Before Kai had found him, just before, had his shaking ceased. Now it returned. He started to feel parts of his body now, either soaked or frozen. He tried to move his stiff fingers, a cry escaping his lips as he felt the pain Kai's tight grip caused.

"Kai... Hurts..."

His head was clearing.
